Intact Integrated Services Achieves Advanced Unified Communications Specialisation from Cisco

Intact Integrated Services announced today that it has achieved the Advanced Unified Communications Specialisation from Cisco®. This specialisation recognises Intact Integrated Services as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to deploy and support comprehensive Cisco Unified Communications solutions on behalf of the outsource providers, systems integrators, VARs, telcos and vendors it works with.

"At Intact Integrated Services we’re distinctive in that we’re entirely channel-focused, and we concentrate on helping our many channel partners to break down their technology barriers, minimise the risks associated in entering new markets, and drive their business forward by taking advantage of our expertise in complex technologies such as Cisco’s industry-leading portfolio,” commented Alan Rosser, CEO at Intact Integrated Services. “We’re seeing growing demand from the Cisco partner community for Intact to provide core development and implementation skills around Cisco’s key UC essentials, and that’s why we’ve invested the significant time and resources needed to make sure that our skills are accredited to the highest level.

“As a Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialized Partner, Intact Integrated Services’ investment in the training required to provide integrated, collaborative and adaptive unified communications solutions rank them among the industry’s most qualified,” said Richard McLeod, senior director of business development at Cisco.

The Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialisation is designed to help Cisco resale channel partners—whether small to medium-sized businesses or enterprise-scale organisations—meet a wide range of customer needs. It allows partners to focus on unified communications market opportunities that require advanced product knowledge and the ability to deploy solutions over multiple sites and geographies. Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialised Partners are specialists in building solutions based on the industry-leading Cisco Unified Communications portfolio. These products include Cisco Unified CallManager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unity voice messaging and unified messaging, and Cisco Unity Express, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco Unified Videoconferencing and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express.

The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides partners with the training required to build sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills, and then validates their skills through a third-party audit.  Cisco resale partner certifications - Select, Premier, Silver and Gold - represent an increasing breadth of skills across key technologies and a partner’s ability to deliver integrated networking solutions.  Cisco resale partner specialisations - SMB, Express, Advanced and Master - reflect an increasing depth of sales, technical and service expertise in particular technologies.

Intact sales support programme helps Cisco partners target added value business opportunities

Intact Integrated Services has strengthened its portfolio of value-added services for Cisco partners with the introduction of its Sales Acceleration Programme. Intact is distinctive in that it is an exclusively partner-focused organisation, and the programme delivers additional support for the growing number of Cisco partners looking to extend their sales penetration into key markets, leverage products aligned to value propositions such as borderless networks, collaboration and complex data centre solutions, and also drive new incremental revenues for themselves and their customers.

“Targeting more advanced sales opportunities presents a real challenge for many Cisco resellers as access to specialist sales resource is invariably limited,” commented Jan Bause, General Manager at Intact Integrated Services GmbH. “The reality is that major vendors such as Cisco have limited technical sales resources at their disposal, and partners are reluctant to invest in new technology sales expertise without confirmed business opportunities to pursue. As a result, partners can find themselves in a difficult position: effectively unable to bid successfully for projects where there is increasing customer demand.

“The Intact Sales Acceleration Programme is designed to give Cisco partners exactly the level of support they need to target new business opportunities in key borderless network areas such as infrastructure, wireless and security, as well as more complex collaboration, video and data centre aspects including virtualisation projects,” he added. “Intact works closely with Cisco, we’re fully accredited in terms of Authorised Technology Provider status, and we’re expert in the provision of both Cisco solutions and architectures. Because Intact only engages directly with the channel, and doesn’t supply any Cisco product, we don’t provide any competitive threat to partners – indeed our Sales Acceleration Programme ideally complements their existing sales processes.”

The Intact Sales Acceleration Programme is designed to shorten the sales cycle for Cisco partners by adding the right levels of technical support at every stage of the sales process. Intact has devised three levels of Sales Consultancy support for partners, ranging from an On Demand service offering project-specific support and Sales Consultancy workshops, through Team Member support that incorporates as part of a sales team and ensures appropriate knowledge transfer, to a more comprehensive Integrated Team approach that features a Virtual Desk based Sales Office, full-time consultants and engineering support. At every stage Intact’s consultants will concentrate on delivering the right levels of sales support, with the clear goal of encouraging skills transfer to strengthen the partner’s own sales operations.

Activities covered by the Intact Sales Acceleration Programme include supporting partners with project and customer qualification, analysis of installed base for opportunities, comprehensive partner coaching, onsite and offsite consulting, live demonstrations, bid presentation as well as full Bill of Materials presentation. Intact’s team can also assist partners in the delivery of solution designs as well as hand-off to the delivery vehicle.

“When it comes to delivering complex enterprise projects there really aren’t any shortcuts to having the right skills, training and accreditations across all the key Cisco technologies,” added Jan Bause. “With the Intact Sales Acceleration Programme we can enable a significant Return on Investment by giving Cisco partners immediate access to our proven expertise, helping them take advantage of shortened sales cycles, working together to identify further cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and by targeting projects that will deliver higher incremental values.”

The company ranked sixth amongst companies with 50-100 employees in the competition “Beste Arbeitgeber in der IT 2013”   (Best IT Sector Employer 2013) run by the Great Place to Work® Institut Deutschland – and was voted for by the employees.

“This is a competition that focuses on employees’ opinions. Because of this, the award is a powerful incentive to continue to meet workforce expectations as we go forward. We know that our success as a business depends on our people. Attractive working conditions and a culture of trust are central to this success,” said a delighted Christian Reichert, Intact’s Managing Director. “Due to our highly specialised business model, we are perceived as an attractive employer by young professionals.

Intact Recognized by Cisco as Unified Contact Center Enterprise Authorized Technology Provider

Bracknell, UK – Intact Integrated Services announced today that it has achieved the Unified Contact Center Enterprise Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco.. This designation recognizes Intact as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco Unified Contact Centre solutions targeted to the high-end enterprise contact centre marketplace.

“In the Cisco sphere, we’re committed to ensuring that our channel partner customers have access to all the expertise and service skills they need to optimise their deployment of complex Cisco advanced technology propositions such as Unified Communications, UCCE and Customer Voice Portal, as well as their complex Wireless, Security and Data Centre service requirements,” commented Bob Dalton, Intact Integrated Services Group’s Chief Executive Officer. “We’re seeing growing demand from the Cisco partner community for Intact to provide the key development and implementation skills around these key Cisco technologies, and that’s why we’ve invested the significant time and resources needed to make sure our UCCE, CVP and other services are accredited to the highest level.

“When it comes to delivering complex enterprise UC projects such as Unified Contact Centre Enterprise solutions, there really aren’t any shortcuts or quick fixes,” he continued. “At Intact we recognise that while some of the latest UC technologies have enormous potential, they also bring with them considerable risks in terms of their complexity and costs – both for the end-user organisation and for the partners involved in their implementation. Intact can help partners de-risk these engagements – with Cisco’s Unified Contact Centre Enterprise solution, for example, we invested early in the skills and Cisco ATP requirements necessary to deliver best practice UCCE solutions, and this year we’ve been busy supporting Cisco partners in the delivery of complex Cisco UCCE projects in key sectors such as financial services and local government.”

“Authorized Technology Provider Partners are instrumental in helping Cisco successfully deploy advanced networking technologies that deliver operational improvements and a competitive advantage,” said Richard McLeod, director of unified communications for worldwide channels at Cisco. “As a Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise ATP Partner, Intact has invested in the skills necessary to bring enterprise-class contact center solutions to our joint customers.”

To qualify for Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise ATP status, Intact had to meet a number of requirements, from achieving the Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialization to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Channel partners must have staff that can fulfil specific job responsibilities. Partners are also required to build a lab for development and customer-fault replication. The lab must contain current, upgraded and maintained Cisco UCCE solutions, each configured for real world testing to simulate actual end-user conditions.

The Cisco Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) Program is part of Cisco’s go-to-market strategy for emerging technologies. The program helps Cisco to define the knowledge, skills and services that channel partners need to successfully sell, deploy and support an emerging technology. As the market changes, an ATP may be discontinued or evolve into a Cisco specialization.

“We’re delighted that Cisco has again recognised our in-depth UC capabilities, and specifically our ability to help Cisco partners deliver high performance intelligent voice and video self-service solutions for their enterprise-level contact centre customers,” commented Tony Butler, Intact Integrated Services’ Chief Technology Officer. “It’s increasingly clear that there’s a significant level of investment and expertise needed to deploy today’s specialist Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal solutions, and that can be a barrier for many Cisco channel partners. Having Intact on hand as an Authorised Technology Provider for customer voice portal projects will enable these partners to target the added value opportunities offered by CVP and other Cisco UC solutions.

“Since first becoming an ATP for Customer Voice Portal, we’ve achieved considerable success in helping Cisco partners deliver successful customer contact projects in key markets such as financial services and local government,” he added. “Given the increased focus on delivering intelligent, personalised self-service over the phone, we believe there will be continued strong demand for Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal, and that’s going to create growing demand for organisations such as Intact who can provide the key development skills around this technology.”

“As we move into new markets and emerging technologies, our Authorised Technology Provider Partners are instrumental in helping our customers turn innovative technology into a competitive advantage,” said Richard McLeod, director of unified communications for worldwide channels at Cisco. “As a Cisco Customer Voice Portal ATP Partner, Intact brings a track record of commitment to providing voice self-service applications for the contact centre market.”

To qualify for the Customer Voice Portal ATP, Intact had to meet a number of requirements, from having staff that fulfill specific job responsibilities to achieving both the Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialisation and the Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise ATP. Those requirements are designed to help a partner maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Partners are also required to build a lab for development and customer-fault replication. The lab must contain current, upgraded and maintained Cisco Unified Contact Centre Enterprise solutions, each configured for real world testing to simulate actual end-user conditions.

The Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal is a high-performance solution for enterprise-level contact centres using with the H.323 standard of Session Initiation Protocol in a distributed or centralised fashion. The Customer Voice Portal ATP recognises partners for their investment in the knowledge and personnel skills to deliver cost-effective, personalised voice self-service to agent-assisted service.

The Cisco Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) Program is part of Cisco’s go-to-market strategy for emerging technologies. The program helps Cisco to define the knowledge, skills and services that channel partners need to successfully sell, deploy and support an emerging technology.  As the market changes, an ATP may be discontinued or evolve into a Cisco specialisation.
